Rainforest of Reading 2016

The St. Aloysius R.C. Boys’ Primary School took part in the Rainforest of Reading programme organized by the Ministry of Education. Students from Grade 3 and 5 were given a class set of books to read and write journal entries about. They then took part in a parade on the 16th of March at the Vigie Sports Complex. The boys portrayed the book entitled “Dinosaurs from head to tail”.

Mr. Augustine’s First Single – Break the Glass

Mr. Augustine, a teacher at the St. Aloysius R.C. Boys’ Primary School releases his first Gospel song – Break the Glass.

 

“A young gospel artiste is hoping to break new musical ground with the release of a new single and music video called Breaking Glass .”

Literacy Month – Literacy Corners (May 2015)

The RC Boys Primary School put a spin on reading month activities by creating literacy showcase corners in each of its classrooms. Over the last few weeks, classes have been challenged to transform their classrooms into spaces that reflect this year’s reading month theme -, “sharpening Literacy skills for Global citizenship “
